Where to Sit at Egg Haven: Table, Counter or Patio

Egg Haven does not take reservations, so the choice of seat is yours the moment you walk in. The Contact Us page says guests can sit at a table or at the counter, and that there is outside seating on a covered patio. Here is how the three compare.

The dining room

Tables inside suit families, small groups and anyone who wants a long, slow breakfast. This is the default choice when you arrive with kids or with more than two adults, and it gives you room for plates, coffee and a menu spread out in the middle.

The counter

Sitting at the counter works well for solo diners and pairs. You are close to the action, orders come across quickly, and there is no need to wait for a whole table to open up. A counter seat can be easier to find than a full table when the room is busy.

The covered patio

The patio has a roof, which means you can sit outdoors without worrying about direct sun on your plate. It is a pleasant option when Florida weather cooperates, and a good place for guests who prefer fresh air. If you want the patio, ask when you arrive. Seating is on a walk-in basis, so no one can hold a spot ahead of time.
